beautiful place but not so good roon condition and service level

it is a really beautiful place where you can swim in the pool and at the same time you can see the beach right in front of the pool. I really enjoyed the view of this place. However, when I first check in, one of the staffs kinda forced me to pay for mandatory fee which is 300baht for one person per night. She said everyone really pays for the fee as long as they stay at the hotel, but I told her I dont really need any of the mandatory service. That was a very unpleasant welcoming of that hotel. I booked a beach front room with private pool which is wonderful, but there are toooo many ants in the room and the staffs dont really clean the room and just arrange the bed sheets.
