Lovely resort but a lot can be improved

It's a new resort and could be fantastic but there are teething problems that need fixing before it can truly be fantastic. The ferry pick up is not straightforward. The restaurant is over priced and sometimes the chef isn't there so can't prepare from the special Thai menu. I'd suggest going to the neighbouring resort coral bay for lunch/dinner as it is much more reasonable with an extensive Thai menu. Not western food like Sai Daeng. We had rain one day and my room had a leak. I called reception but they didn't understand and so it took me the next morning to sort it out with them. I got a taxi from the resort into Sairee and requested a return. I had to call the hotel as the driver hadn't turned up after 45mins! Some things are a bit of a shambles but the pool, beach and rooms are beautiful and there is a lot they can do to improve your stay.

This is a remote location. Very beautiful beach and rooms. Lots of walking uphill to your room.
