Far from Thonburi train station

I booked this B&B thinking it is near Thonburi train station where I can take a train to Kanchanaburi early next morning but I was wrong. The staff told me it’s about 30mins by taxi and helped me to book a taxi for the next morning. The taxi only took about 15mins & reached the train station perhaps it’s Saturday morning so no traffic. But the driver asked me for THB140 instead of the THB97 shown on the meter reading saying there is surcharge which the B&B staff did not inform me. Also, the taxi started the meter running even before I got in the car. Taxi arrived 7mins before my booked timing. Don’t book this place if you are going to Kanchanaburi via train early morning and just need a place to stay for a night.
