New facility, good staff, quiet, clean

Hotel Montha is new and strikingly clean and well-kept. Everything about the room was good, including mattress and the aircon. There was also a nice little balcony. (I was in back; I'm not sure the front rooms have a balcony, I didn't hear any street noise.) The WiFi is reliable and fast.
The location was a bit touristy, and the center, with the city walls, is about a twenty-minute drive away.
I had a minor kerfuffle in scheduling a late departure (language difficulty with the night staff) but all I really wanted was a WiFi connection and a place to sit, and the Cafe Siam was a block away, and they let me store my luggage. So I have no complaints.
All in all, I was very pleased.
