Nice and spacious room. Friendly staff, speak very good english. Good location. However: Arrived on a Saturday and while walking barefoot in the white sand of the private beach, stepped on a needle that was hidden in the sand. Just in front of the restaurant. It got planted into my foot. Staff came to help, clean the wound etc, but very surprised it was there, near where my kid was playing. Staff told me they would triple check to make sure it never happens again. If they had I would probably not bother writing this review. But the following day, on Sunday morning, we found 1meter away from where this incident happened, a rusty screw hidden again in the white sand. Unacceptable for a 5 star hotel, this happening twice in less than 24h. I thought upon check out there would be some commercial gesture, but nothing. They did apologize several times though. Lot of stairs to go to the beach, not convenient with strollers. Beach has no access to the sea! Nice thin white sand at least...

Pleasant surprise
Was given a free upgrade to a ocean view suite, we were seated at club lounge for afternoon tea while waiting for the room to be rdy.
