Probably the best hotel in Phathalung.

Glad I picked Siva Royal Hotel. Pluses: new modern hotel, very nice room, gym provided, breakfast is set egg, salad, sausage, good coffee, fruit and pastries, plenty of off street parking, a few restaurants with 15 minute walk. Minuses: Hotel staff speak little if any English. I had big trouble trying to get my message through. Restaurant menu all in Thai, no English translation, hence you don't know what to eat for evening meal. My advice head for bar come restaurant as you turn right outside hotel. I did have conversation with assistant manager. I was told only about 5% of hotel visitors are European. I suggested that hotel should at least have room and restaurant information written in English. You don't need to provide for every guest, just a few standard handouts for non Thai visitors would be helpful. I would still recommend staying at this hotel if you travelling through Pathhalung.
