I strongly recommend you do not stay here. The AC does not work. In our first room, we were in it for two hours as the farang manager said it would cool down eventually. It never did and he never checked in on us once during our stay. Overall, the manager really didn’t seem to care about our situation and it was the lovely Thai staff who ended up helping us move to a new cooler room. Even in this room, it took two hours with the AC at 16 degrees Celsius to cool down the room to a bearable level. The huts are designed very poorly with unnecessarily tall roofs made of plywood that sucked in and trapped all the heat.
As well, we told the staff (in Thai) as soon as we arrived that one of our group was severely allergic to shellfish. We had the big dinner they offered and the staff had not communicated this to the cooking staff. Every single dish had shrimp paste in it and was inedible for our friend.
Finally, the tours they offered are severely overpriced.
