I booked a garden view room but when we arrived we weren’t happy with the room as the rooms look a lot bigger in pictures however the deciding factor to upgrade was the bathroom! The garden view bathroom was tiny and didn’t seem clean - grey water marked walls and no boundary between shower and toilet which meant if we showered the toilet would have been soaking. We upgraded to a pool side room (shown a standard upstairs poolside however shower was same) so we went for the other option given to us a triple downstairs poolside 1100 baht extra per night. the new room was lovely however aircon wasn’t the strongest so I’d recommend leaving it on as much as possible! It was nice to have the smaller pool outside the room however the garden staff did start cleaning early and were quite loud and the curtains were thin so it was very bright from about 6am. Other pool with bar was nice but used by dive school a lot so that can get in the way. Both restaurants were nice and reasonably priced!
