North worth the price

We have stayed in basic places in Thailand but at 650 baht a night ($20 USD) one would expect a little more.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from your neighbors even with earplugs in.
The bathrooms smell like a sewer for some reason and it overwhelms the entire bungalow. They also do not refresh toiletries so we have to hunt someone down at 10pm for toilet paper.
Long story short, for this price point you can do much better in Pai, and I can not recommend this place.

Good cheap place to stay close to the walking street. Very simple but ok.

Simple but pleasant
Great location; near everything but quiet. There's a good shower and you get your daily drinking water. A good choice if you're on a low budget and want to be near the walking street in Pai.

Good location to explore Pai and surroundings
Very good location, clean bathroom. wall was very thin so you could hear almost everything, better bring earplugs. bed was not that comfortable.
