The Hotel is nice but they were difficult regarding children.
The rooms and grounds were very nice.
I had made a reservation for 3 (2 adults and one child). (I was unable to make the reservation for 4 on the website - but since children under 12 could stay free, I didn't think it would be a problem).
I was wrong - they wanted me to pay extra for my youngest (4 yo) to stay in the room and to pay for both children's breakfasts.
I was adamant that the reservation was for 3 and that I would not pay for the young one to stay in the room. Since the reservation was for three - I thought it fair that I pay for one additional breakfast.
After about 10 minutes of arguing, she agreed. They charged about $3 (total) for both days of our stay.
Foolish to spoil a stay over such a trivial amount of money.
One additional note - do not eat in the restaurant except for the included breakfast.
I had dinner there - the food was not bad but WAY overpriced. It was easily twice what you should pay in a restaurant.
In summary, a nice place - just don't take children or eat in the restaurant.
