When I booked through Agoda, I stated as I booked as well as informing the hotel when I checked in, that there r 3 pax, but somehow on check in, for 2 days running, they continued to give water and left bath accessories and towels for 2 towels. A bit disappointing for a 5 star and was embarrassing as I happened to treat this holiday for my gal pal as a birthday ~ we had to remind the staff the first day as well as the second day , requeting that there is a need for extra water and bath towels for thr 3rd person,
Also the aircon was not cold enough and on the second evening, we finally had to complain to the manager . It finally got attended to after he intervened.the third day, all was in good order. The thing to note, on check in, the reception took all 3 passport details and entered into the data base. Why was the cleaning dept not aware of 3 occupants instead of 2.
So what was disappointing, thr small things that can affect our perception of how the standards of the hotel.
