Panalee

We were unable to check in on arrival as there was no one at the resort so we had to go and find another hotel to check into for our first night. Our room payment at Panalee was refunded at the end of our stay (seemed a little odd that it wasn't done upfront as we had prepaid for the room). Clearly it was not peak time during our stay as there were few guests and few staff who didn't seem confident with English and avoided coming near us unless necessary. The gardens and general environment were a treat and added to a most relaxing stay. The bathroom was covered in black mould which created an unpleasant feel and the drain was very slow. The room itself was very pleasant and clean with a very pleasant outlook onto the gardens and a pool.

Looks better than it is!
