We thought the room was nice and we really enjoyed the pool. However, the big plus was the accommodating staff. We’d definitely stay here again.

We found The Malika Hotel as a gem in the middle of Phuket. But why I din't give 10 points? It is because of the room service. For the first two days everything was good. But later (we stayed all in all 8 nights) the service forgot to clean the room or was not very tidily. But all the rest was nearly 10 point worth: The hotel was in a very good condition. The room we had was very big. The windows were well isolated so we didn't have the typical outside noises during the night. We had a very comfortable sleep! We missed a work desk and dryer racks for towels and swim stuff. The brakfast was ok, nothing special. Some eggs, one type of fruit, industrial sweets and croisant, bread, one type of jam, corn flackes. Before 8 am it becomes very crowed because of the tour pickups between 8-8.30 am and not enough tables for more than 5-8 rooms. The pool was nice and clean. We loved that we could get pool towels which we could also take to the beach. The stuff, especially the man at the reception, were very helpful. He helped us with renting a scooter (for a reasonable price) and with finding our spots around the island. The hotel is not too big. Arround 30 rooms. Overall we felt so comfortable in The Malika Hotel that we decided to extend our 5 night stay with three more nights, instead moving to the next hotel on Phuket.
