Worst place I have ever stayed in 6 years of going to Thailand!!!! On arrival you are required (with no prior warning) to give a Key deposit, then on checkout I realised they had no intention of returning it. They brought out photos of slight grey smudges of supposedly 'my towels'. I pointed out that the receipt for the deposit quite clearly said 'Key Deposit' not 'Towel or 'other things we decide to make up' deposit. To avoid an argument, I said i'd wash the towels & in return then get the money back. Not only could the resort fail to produce the 'towels', they tried passing off the the 'unwashed towels' from my recently checked out room. After washing the towels, using hot water & detergent & they are as good as new. Guess what?! The resort still won't return the money. It is now even more clear that this is their way of making extra money. If they will openly steal your deposit... watch out for your belongings. Illegal and immoral business.
