For once, a hotel that's better than expected!

Booking independent hotels is always a hit-or-miss since you can't tell how old the photos being used really are. Hope Land on Soi 8, however, turned out better than expected. The pictures are representative of what you get. Rooms are big, clean, and with a big comfortable bed. The area is also very good, close enough to Soi Nana, but away from the noise. There are also some street food steaks on Soi 8. My only complaint is their pool. Not sure why, but the upkeep of the pool is not well maintained. Water is not clear (greenish algae growth). The sauna and steam rooms are not constantly on and require advanced startup time. Lots of Thai massage places, money exchanges, travel agencies, beer around. Will come back next time!

Great location, great room, good staff
