Value for money and a great location

So for the positives, it is a great location as it is situated right on Klong Nin beach and it was sandy, no rocks, and perfect for swimming in. The resort offers really good value for money and the staff at reception was very helpful. They booked our tour to Trang Islands (BTW, recommend the Emerald Cave), our boat trip to Phi Phi and our Moped hire as well. We paid for laundry service which was reasonably priced. You also get fresh beach towels when you need them.

Now for the cons: The bathroom was a bit ugly and the shower was a little hard to understand and does spray all over the toilet and bathroom when you use it. The food was average with a heavy handed chef who liked to load everything with so much garlic, you could taste nothing else and by the way, we love garlic, so please understand when we say there was way too much, that we know what we are talking about. Agoda said the pizza was good. What were they smoking? Seriously this was the worst pizza we have had on our trip. We got a vegetarian pizza and we were both very sick feeling afterwards. It just tasted strange and once again, seriously full of garlic!
No housekeeping meant we had to ask for fresh towels and toilet rolls, but thats not really a big issue when you get such great value. The air con was powerful however on our last day we discovered it had been leaking on our bags sitting under the Air con unit. Recommendation: Do not leave bags under Aircon unit. We loved being down and out of the way fro the crowds of Saladan and Long beach, however you can feel a little isolated with food options down here as opposed to the wealth of choice in Saladan. Just keep that in mind if you are staying for longer than a few days.
