Wonderful location and excellent value

My son and I took two rooms at Lanta Nice Beach resort and it was everything we could wish for.
The position was great being right on an excellent streach of clean sandy beach and the rooms large, air conditioned and clean.
The staff were lovely, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We took a tour unrelated to the resort and were mistakenly overcharged a few hundred Thai Baht.
When the receptionist [who I suspecrt is possibly also an owner] heard about it she undertook the task of having the money returned.
This is a family run establishment and is by no means an upmarket granite and marble job. It does however offer excellent value for money.
