I’m writing my review so it was my second time there, in 2 years the hotel quality went down drastically!!
Very good location BUT the hotel room is very dirty and so old!!! It needs to be refurbished right away, because the rooms are battle-weary!!!! When you get back from your day, and you wanna feel safe and sound you need to be in a room where you feel dirty and can’t relax.. The shower cabinet is absolutely disgusting! You will see my photos..
They didn’t even give you hand towels...
There are lots of mosquitos, which is not a surprise because the hotel party located in the jungle which is amazing... but they need to install mosquito net for windows!!!!!
Do Not reserve private boat from the hotel, they aren’t capable of doing that properly and even more expensive then the “free lancers” along the main road.
We booked a private boat for 8am. I asked them about the low tide at the morning which was very low at the time when we were there. They said that there will be no problem at all, but I thought that there will be, and asked again are you sure that the boat will be able to depart? They replied again that yes no problem, I said ok, you live here you know the place.
Than at the morning we get up early to be there at 8 am and then they said that the boat can’t depart in this condition, so go back to the room until 10 am.....
When we get back to the shore at 10 there were no boat at all... we needed to wait another 30 minutes...ridiculous.
