Don't beleive the photos ! One the worst hotels...

Don't believe the photos... Upon checking in we were shown to our room, which was supposed to be a "superior sea view room", it was at the back of the complex right next to a building site, with a sea view if you stood on tip toe ! When I said to the hotel staff that the room doesn't look much like the photo.. the reply was "oh guests often say that". The room was also damp and smelt of mold. I complained to the hotel manager who offer us an upgrade to a bungalow next to the sea ! lovely all was good ! But the cheeky hotel staff tried to charge us and extra 500 THB per night for the free upgrade... In summery this hotel is really a joke, the restaurant food is awful, with no ambiance, far better places further up the beach and the staff really don't know what they are doing ! Many many better places in Koh Lanta...... Don't say here !!!
