The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable.
The pools look very nice in pictures but are very cold, which will explain why not many people use them. Also, the pools are not interconnected, there arent beach chairs located conveniently around the pool so you will have to either walk to the front of the resort or use the second smaller pool right below the reception area or use the smallest 3rd pool located in a separate wing altogether.
The whole layout of the resort was made up of many unnecessary stairs. Stairs to the reception, stairs to get to the rooms, stairs to the dining areas, stairs to the beachfront. If you need wheelchair access, this is MOST DEFINITELY not the place for you. There is no swimming at the beach as it is very rocky.
Only the expensive Thai restaurant served edible food, the rest is subpar for the prices you pay. The breakfast is extremely average. Only the waffles and eggs are any good.
Resort was also overbooked and we were told that resort staff had to DOWNGRADE many guests into other rooms. We travelled during low season. I cannot imagine what the situation will be like during high/peak season, especially for honeymooners who expect to get the room they booked. Room service was also very slow as there werent enough staff. That being said, the beachfront bar was overstaffed. One of them was more interested in chatting up his female colleagues than serving the many customers waving for attention.
The Spa was very good. Not the cheapest but at least the masseuses know what they are doing.
Really, you will find much better for your buck elsewhere. Pity because the rooms are comfortable.
