Beautiful Hotel w/ Friendly Staff

We enjoyed our stay at Mai Samui immensely. The pool is massive and excellent, the Thai food was very good, and the location is very quiet and removed. The have a beach side bar which is a great place to lay/hang out. Staff is really friendly and mostly can speak English. Rooms are top notch.
A few cons: some oddities at the hotel (charged us to use the shuttle, didn't have enough towels by the pool, refused to help us get a taxi and insisted we use their shuttle to the airport), the beach is not great on this side of the island, and the location makes going out to eat difficult. Also I do not go to an island resort for the WiFi, but it was particularly terrible.
All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this is a great secluded resort for relaxing in the sun and by the pool.
