Not what I expected

Excluding the pool perhaps, this is not a 5 star hotel. It is clean, the rooms are well appointed and the location is good if you like a quiet corner away from the main beaches and towns. Unfortunately a lot has been spent on a badly designed project that seems hard to keep up by the staff and is not very convenient to the visitor. Staff really needs training in all areas of hospitality - they seem to be doing what they can but are simply not professionally trained or are either not supported to do their job well. As a result, although time has clearly been spent on it, the food and service is very average, overpriced and becomes tasteless and boring within two days. It is an unfortunate waste and a disappointment to the visitor given the potential it has. A fair deal perhaps for people who are not too bothered with the smaller details of hospitality, not interested in fine dining and only want a place to sleep and have a few drinks watching the sun go down from the pool.
