A very disappointing accommodation, not to be recommended
This is the most disappointing accommodation we ever have had using Agoda's website. I really do not understand how they managed to obtain a high score and feel cheated by it as this is what I used to make up my mind when looking for our accommodation.
Here are the positives:
- good size bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms
- small swimming pool
- good parking space
Here are the negatives:
- there is a lot of rubbish in the street leading to the villas and the smell was quite potent
- there is very little privacy
- the level of noise was such that we could hear our neighbours' celebrating at night
- the kitchen is a con: it is not really equipped, so it is not there for the guests' use.
- the showers have little pressure
- breakfast was miserable (with a range of 3 sets)
- the cleaning did not happen everyday and there was no forewarning of when it might be happening. We had full bins for days which attracted many ants.
- we had to cancel our day trip to the islands because our son was sick and with temperature and we had to pay for nearly all of it.
- 2 glasses were broken (one by us, the other one was already broken but we remembered that too late) and were charged THB 200/ glass. This is the price of a green curry or pad thai in a Thai restaurant on the main street.
