Could have been better for a Marriott standard

Location was good, both reception & front desk staff was very nice. But rooms was a big disappointment being a Marriott standard. Room size was very generous but when we got in the room #2604, the moldy smell was unbearable. It smell like the room has not been tenanted for ages, it would be really nice if Marriott initiate like other hotels like burning essential oil on the walkway or lift landing of each floor as the moldy scent started the minute the lift open up & got worse as we enter the room.
There were residue of nails on the carpet as well as dead flies found in our room. Adding to that the bath tub had pubic hair all over. Bathroom amenities were incomplete & not refill properly on a daily basis. Housekeeping was definitely a big let down, other wise it was ok.
