Nice resort with all facilities you may need

They get a lot of things right at this hotel. The room design was nice and quirky with comfortable bed and very big bathroom. The problem I found about the room was that it was too dimly lit. Even when all lights were on, one would struggle to read a book at night! I mean, what else could you have done at night on a quiet island if not reading a book?!? The pricing at their spa is also quite perplexing for me. I have been to some expensive spas but they were in 4-5 star hotels in Phuket and Bangkok, not on a small island where everything is else reasonably priced and in a resort where seafood buffet costs around 700 baht ++ per head, as opposed to around 2000 baht++ in hotels that offer spa treatments of the same price range as here. It just doesn't feel proportional for me. The staff were nice and polite, always wai (Thai way to show respect) whenever you walk past them. Breakfast is good with many varieties of decent bread and cheese.
