VERY NICE HOTEL IN QUIET LOCATION

This Movenpick Resort is located quite a long way down the main Bangtao Beach near but away the Laguna Resorts. It is nicely self contained although the hotel has no beach of its own the public beach nearby is handy (quite lumpy surf/waves here) as is the only beach restaurant nearby - TONY's, which is very nice and has very friendly staff. It takes 30 minutes to walk along the beach to the package deal hotels end. Otherwise a 10 minutes tuk-tuk ride. Hotel provides a convenient shuttle bus to the nearest shops if required. Very nice staff, very clean hotel. Self-catering (if reqd) family suites are excellent and very well appointed - with own small patio pools are great for the kids and very spacious. Note DVD players are not multi-region so bring your own! My wife reckons the vegetarian/vegan choice is very limited - although the staff made a commendable effort to provide something extra for her every morning at the buffet breakfast. Our kids loved it! Great internet. :)

A wonderful relaxing stay
