Nice hotel but incorrect room on the first night

The hotel is clean and in a good location. The only problem with the stay was that the hotel had not arranged for a twin room as requested and previously confirmed by the hotel. Upon arrival at 12:30am in the morning we were told a twin room was not available so we requested another room for the night. This was not accepted and following two phone calls to management we were told we would need to pay for this and that the hotel might lose money if they can't sell the room even though by this time it had gone past 1:00am in the morning.

Great value for money
