pool (assuming you dont arrive in march or april when air is toxic to breathe without a mask) big comfortable bed clean room
cons no elevator nor offer of assistance in carrying your bags up four flights of stairs.
the air in chiang mai is literally toxic in march and april rice patty burning season despite burning ban. better use a mask. (not really hotels fault). and not a thin paper one. the n95 mask is needed most days. when i was there it was the most polluted city in the world 4 days running.. literally. meter said off the charts. makes using pool not really an option unless you want to instantly feel like you smoked a pack of cigarettes or two. particles that stay in your lungs permanently... most tourists have no idea. and dont even wear mask.. ouch. that will come back to haunt them.
no phone in room.
odd design. its like they built the hotel and forgot to put the elevator in and the electrical wiring in the walls so just ran four or five rows of thick metal pipes containing all wiring across room walls. kinda like your sleeping in a big utility closet / maintenence room.
you have to lock the door from outside when you leave room for some reason they chose you jiggling keys (not in an easy way either) every time you leave room over the door self locking like every other hotel in the world.
got to put your key in slot to turn on the electric so plan on coming back to hot room on 100 degree days. (alot of hotels do this in asia)
a good distance away from almost everything. except one temple which is like next door.
500 baht deposit.. for what i don’t knows as the mini bar fridge is empty. not a deal breaker but not on listing either. but hey. bright side is theres a fridge.
loud AC and creaky but comfortable bed.
no way to block sun that comes in from bathroom. so mornings are super bright.
