Beautiful Beach

I stayed in two rooms during my stay, the Deluxe and the Standard. The Deluxe cost about $20 more (700 baht) more. The Deluxe had a nicer shower and a slight ocean view through the trees, but the Standard had a bum gun in the toilet (Deluxe did not). Other than that, no real difference or reason to pay more. The staff are very friendly and the front desk crew are very knowledgeable about the transport options to/from/around the island and can make arrangements for you, and they add a modest fee of 30-50 baht to the tickets. Nina is especially personable and enthusiastically helpful. My only complaint would the wi-fi, which is free at the restaurant but you have to pay for in the rooms, is very slow and unreliable. Overall, this a nicely run, basic hotel for a fair price, on a beautiful, tranquil, hassle free beach and within walking distance of Had Rin Beach town area with restaurants, shops, etc. I would be glad to stay there again.
