Take no notice of bad reviews!

i nearly opted for a different hotel after reading some bad reviews on the internet - but then decided to trust the lonely planet ( their top pick in haad rin). i was not disappointed. the rooms were absolutely stunning,the staff were helpful -i left something at a previous hotel and the staff organised to collect if for me straight away. the buffet breakfast was lovely. i had a coffee body scrub and massage (looking out to sea)- a real treat. the hotel operates a shuttle bus into haad rin if you dont want to walk. free wi fi in the restaurant & can pay baht to use in your room. laundry service was good. i guess this hotel is expensive in thai terms but would never get you a hotel of this standard in the uk!
