relaxing accomodation in the heart of lamai
although not the nicest driveway there, once you enter reception it is lovely! staff very welcoming with lots of information upon check in and a cool welcome drink. lots of trees and grass, the hotel is naturally built around the nature, this includes nice details like the restaurant and spa backing onto large ocean rocks and trees. the staff did not speak much english but the were so nice, and you could tell they were treated well and were happy working there. they had three hotel dogs that were well looked after and lazed around the beach next to the restaurant all day, in the 5 days we were there we grew to love them, they would come over and say hi and sit around us on the beach if you gave them a scratch, or they were happy to leave you alone if you paid no attention. we had a massage at happy hour which was 250 baht each and it was BRILLIANT, they used coconut oil which smelt fantastic. we also had a foot scrub and manicure, the foot scrub was a bit fast for the money paid and it would have been nice to have a little foot massage with it. overall our favourit place though!!
