I stayed in a bungalow in a garden that runs from the hotel toward the beach (although the hotel has no beach front, and beach access is through the grounds of a hotel next door). The gardens are very narrow, so the bungalows on either side of the path are a little overlooked, but ok. The location is in the heart of Chawaeng very close to central festival. The room was a decent size, with a safe, and the towels and bed linen were very clean. Unfortunately, the general standard of housekeeping was fair at best - the tiled floor was a little dirty and the bathroom.though "ok" needed a really good deep clean (lots of scale on the shower, mildew between the tiles etc). There is some noise from aircraft every hour or so in the day (same for all hotels in the centre of Chawaeng). The rate I paid was good, and less than half of some similar hotels in the area with bungalows in their garden. So although the room was let down by slightly poor cleanliness, the rate was very good. I guess you get what you pay for. I would probably stay again for a good rate.
