One is never sure what to expect as photos online are often misleading- but this hotel is EXACTLY what you see online. The decor and facilities are modern and new, and in general the hotel is excellently maintained. It has an open, spacious feel with great staff and facilities. We were upgraded to a deluxe room on the 6th floor which was spacious and has an amazing, big balcony with views of the ocean- we would happily book this room in the future, it is worth every penny! The hotel is very clean and room service does a thorough job each day. I would recommend requesting a room south-facing room, as the east-facing rooms get harsh, direct sun or no sun. I would also avoid the pool access rooms- they are lovely rooms but very direct and get no sunlight or view and it is not really a pool, it's a sort of knee-deep strip of water. There was always plenty of space at the pool area, with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. We can't wait to return, an excellent experience!
