Good value for money
The hotel is located in Soi 13 off Beach Road. It about 100 metres to the beach an 10 metres from 2nd Road. it is about 15 walk from Walking Street. The 10 baht taxi service is available on Beach Road and 2nd Road.
Soi 13 is quite apart from a beer bar on the corner of the Soi and and 2nd Road. If one gets a room away from the Soi side, then it is very quite.
The staff is very efficient and helpful.
The hotel is somewhat dated in relation to decor. Most notably in relation to the TV, which is extremely large and not LCD/LED. There are numerous cable channels, English, Russian, Mandarin, sports etc.
There is no tea/coffee facilities (or iron) in room, but does have 24 coffee shop.
The airconditioning is more than adequate as is the hot water (although it may need to run a little bit).
While there us a pool on the roof, it is really small.
Bed linen and towels are clean and room made-up every day.
Rooms are let on a dual occupancy basis, there is a small additional charge for additional persons.
In summary, good location, good room and good staff for a reasonable price.
No 'bells and whistles' and likewise no additional charge.
