I will start with the positives. The resort is in a great location and the staff are friendly. Everything is, indeed, comfortable enough but the price charged was too much for what was offered. For example:
- The photos don't represent the actual hotel (no specially folded towels and no coffee makers in rooms).
- "Rain" at the pool was never turned on.
- Breakfast was okay for choices but a hotel like this should have a proper coffee maker not a pre- set machine.
- Wifi connectivity was poor.
- Beach had a lot of rubbish washed up by late afternoon, which was unpleasant (not the hotels fault).
- Tea and instant coffee were not refilled everyday.
- Pool staff were a bit slow to help with umbrellas and take drink orders.
- Drinks are overpriced even by resort standards.
I did enjoy my break in the South but I have been to a number of other resorts in this area of a similar star rating and it is my opinion that Beyond did not measure up.
