Very good bungalows, the resort is not fashionable or chic as the others nearby, but this a good plus if you search a "real" place, in the nature, with a fantastic atmosphere. There are no spa or swimming pool, but the beach is very beautiful and the location is very quiet at 5 min to the center of the village.
The problem is the location on island... this is a good location because far from chaos of thong sala or other crowdy places or stupid noisy tourists/tourism, but to the other side of the coin is that is a "closed area" not well linked to the other places on island. Other important thing is that is also a "closed market" made for rich tourists, the village has very high prices, at least double of seveneleven located in the island (there aren't here). Thong sala is 35 min by scooter.
Taxi from Thong Sala ask you 1.500 bht (crazy), the right price for a private taxi is 600-800 bht, shared taxi could be 300 but very hard to find someone that goes there in the same time.
There is a beautiful and big beach at 15 min foot / 5 min scooter at south, Thong Na Pai Yai, go there.
This resort has no restaurant, but there is a convention with a the nearby restaurant on the beach, it's a beautiful restaurant, is always full at night, go there.
Breakfast is good, but not enough! You have a daily coupon to use at the restaurant, but the food included is very poor, 1 tea/coffe/juice and 1 thing to eat. Very few if compared with other hotel all around the world. Food quality is good.
Team is ok and helpful.
