Relaxing atmosphere, suitable for Full Moon Party
We were in a standard double room that was exceptionally clean and seemed to be relatively new. I was impressed. Our second night we were in one of the "pool view" rooms and found it was much older and musty. the staff allowed us to switch back to our old room with no problems. The main pool is nice and there is a restaurant if you want to hang around the hotel all day. Some selections are better than others on the menu, so I wouldn't rely on it for every meal of your trip. The best part of the hotel was how helpful the staff was with traveling around. My boyfriend and I were there for the full moon party and the hotel got me and many other guests a ride to the party for 300 baht (return trip.) the taxi picked us back up at 5am and we got home safely. I know a lot of people think they have to stay at Haad Rin to enjoy the party, but I can assure you we had no trouble getting there and were able to relax somewhere other than a trashed beach the next day. They also booked our boat off the island. All in all, good experience and I have stayed in many many many hotels in this country. It's always refreshing to get a good nights sleep and to have staff that speak English in case you're unable to communicate everything in thai.
