Great view, unprofessional staff

I would like to start with the resort: it is on a quiet beach 10 min drive from the main pier offering beautiful views and relax. I rented the Jasmine bungalow (deluxe seaview), the interior is very spartan but still ok, it was nice having a patio to chill out in the evening. The bathroom is ridicoulus, the wc is minget size! I know that Thai are not giants, but I have never seen anything like that in my entire life (maybe when I was at the kindergarden). There was also a broken window so anyone could break into the room without problems. The wi-fi is acceptable. It is nice to have a swimming pool, even if noisy because of drunk people using it night and day (I was there during the full moon party). And here we come to the staff: they don't answer about what is going on in their "resort"! People can make noise, leave bottles around, play music, break things or whatever they want from 10pm to 7am. They just close the reception and disappear! The first evening I asked the receptionist if I have to leave the key (big key, evidently they never considered updating the access system with cards) when I go out and she said yes. When I came back at 2am after some drinks everything was closed, nobidy was answering the calls at the emergency number (just think what would happen in event of fire or real emergencies!). I have no words to say how unprofessional they are.
A the end of the day, also considering the hefty price I paid, you can definitely find something better - it is a shame because the place (it is not a resort for civilized country's standards) is ok and the location good, but the bad management is simply unacceptable
