Fabulous resort
This resort has the most amazing setting -self contained huts at the base of vertical cliffs and set in beautifully maintained jungle gardens. The swimming pool setting is particularly spectacular, with a man made waterfall at one end, and surrounded but jungle foliage. I took one reviewers advice and booked a superior room.. This was simply perfect with tea making facilities, safe, flat screen, TV, air con and windows on all sides. The sounds of thepeacock, cicadas and call to prayer from the nearby mosque just add to the ambience. The breakfasts could not be faulted, with fruits, cereals, Danish, buffet and eggs cooked to your specification. Unfortunately other meals did not reach this high standard, though they were adequate. I liked the fact that the resort was away from the main town and was peaceful and cool, and the rooms and gardens were spotlessly clean? While some reviewers complained of lack of maintenance this was in my view minor wear and tear to be expected in a jungle. The resort provided a free hourly shuttle to town as well as giving a
free 4 Island tour for one person if a room is booked for 4 days or longer. . I loved my stay and would return in a heartbeat. It has been one of the best places I have stayed in Thailand.
