I love the Queen Vic

The Queen Vic is a lovely little place. It's on a red-light street, but the pub and hotel itself is quite friendly, safe, and clean. The rooms are old, but clean -- get a room on the back street to avoid the bar noise, although the moto drivers at the back are also loud at times. Internet is excellent, which is another reason I stay there (for my work). Room service from the pub as long as it's open. Staff is the best part of the Queen Vic though -- once you stay there for a while, they treat you like family. Will definitely stay there again!

Very good location for solo travellers

Location is the biggest benefit
