funky, stylish and local to boot

Loved the history of the building and how it was build by whom etc. The decor was to my absolute liking in everyway, outside and in. The only thing missing is a sign to indicate that it's the IRON hotel, my taxi drove up and down 3 times on the narrow street and was lastly kind enough to call them to know where exactly – even after so, we had trouble finding it.
