okay hotel, close to BTS & cool part of town

we stayed at Ir-on because it was cheap and close to Thonglor and all the cool stuff that's close by. the hotel is fine, nothing wrong with it really if you're just looking for a place to sleep. Theres a small lobby where you could hang out, but that's about it. The road that leads to it from the BTS is not really suitable for walking, especially if you have a suitcase. It's a 5 minute walk, but no side walk, heaps of construction and a decent amount of traffic. they have a cafe there, but we never saw it open - not sure why. the rooms are good, okay clean, bathroom is good, AC works well.
All in all a satisfactory place, no frills or extra's, but very affordable, which is probably their main plus point.

Overpriced
