Old 4 star hotel

I have mixed feelings about the hotel. This is a vey old hotel and I was discouraged at first. Even olde than Royal Penninsula hotel which was less expensive at one pont. The safe in the room was not free. i.e. 20 baht a night. The area is not touristy so quite dark and night and may unsafe. Very hard to find as it is off the main street but you can get used to it. This area can be quite good if you know how to manage your own stuff as things around can be quite local and inexpensive. I had quite a good night sleep though as hotel seems to be empty or so quiet. The mattress is a lttle too soft. The bath tub was the hightlight of this hotel. The staff were not super friendly but spoke good English. Many French and Korean guests here.

Old style hotel with large rooms, under renovation

large room, good value
