Zero frills, but a great location and pool

This place is quite old and in need of some serious updating. The bathroom wasn't exactly what I would call clean, and water leaked from several of the pipes. While they advertise safety deposit boxes as a part of the room, mine looked like it was made in the 60's (much like the rest of the room), they required a $100 deposit for the key, and charged you 20 baht a day to use it. If you decided to stay here it would be helpful to keep your expectations low when you arrive. All that being said...

The location was excellent for getting to most of the attractions within about a 10 minute walk. The pool was awesome during the day. Clean and cool and much needed after a morning of walking around.

Also I rented a scooter through the hotel and was pretty happy with it. It was a newer bike and the people didn't try to screw me over. Took it up the mountain to see the temple, and rode it up the Ping River to do a little sight seeing.

Cheap ish in my budget

It is better to find another hotel.
the hotel is very old. the elevator is too small, especially for western size people. the bathtub in my room was not so much clean. there are no shampoo or even soap for the agoda booker. also, no min... อ่านต่อ

Stay here twice on current rooms are large but somewhat run down Staff very pleasant. Dont know if I would stay again as there many other hotels offering the same kind of rates that are in better sha... อ่านต่อ

a nice dump, comfortable and cheap
