Great rooms - spacious and private with nice lanai

we rented a car and this was a good decision as the hotel is on the quiet side of the island. this allowed us to easily come and go for sight seeing, dining, and shopping. the island is not that big so it was only about a 30 minute drive from the airport and another 45 minutes to circumnavigate the rest of the way around the island. best dining was at green talay which is on the southwest corner of the island only about 15 minutes from the resort.note that while the bungalows at the resort are quiet and private the beach club and pool are bumin' at times with throbbing music and a loud crowd. the beach is nice but somewhat pollotued with trash as it is not completely built out on this side of the island. also if you go to waterfall 2 which is near the resort don't just stop at the bottom of the falls where most tourists stop. there is a path to the right with informal guides who can take you up to the top of the waterfall where there is a nice lagoon but you must be physically fit.

Quiet location, lively resort
