High service standart, but not a nice beach

I really like the W Retreat and even got an Upgrade, which was nice. I love the style and design of the hotel, but still I have to stay that the beach is not what you´d usually be looking for on Koh Samui. You can´t go into the ocean without shoes because there are sharp corals (good: there is a warnig sign), and the sand is not that nice either.
The AC is hard to deal with - mine was and too cold most of the time, blowing directly into my face at night. Great: The Sweet Spots where you can get drinks and ice cream for free. I didn´t really use it, but I love this gesture, that´s really nice. Plus complimentary water at the beach all day. The bottom line is: I would come back, but not for a long term stay as there are better beaches here.

Comfortable, great assistance from staffs.

The staff are so helpful and nice. The room is so clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was that about not having enough hot water while showering.
