I don't mind more basic accommodation and am very used to places in Thailand not being maintained, but this place... It's on a main road (luckily we had our own car). The pool is tiny and doesn't seem to be kept very well (their photo makes it look much bigger and cleaner). The rooms are very basic and not very well looked after (usual bits that need re-painting, mould, etc...). The service seemed to improve during our stay, after the initial icy reception. A load of other residents decided to hang out at the pool (right ouside all the rooms) and make loads of noise until about midnight. They weren't told to be quiet or anything, despite other guests with small children. The bottom line: this place must get passing trade and stop-offs from people visiting the area. My suggestion: either find a place in Krabi Town (this isn't) or even better, just stay in Ao Nang.
