A stunning resort and so much going for it. The single biggest frustration was our arrival at 1pm and refusal to check us in early. By all all means we appreciate the turnover of rooms and complexities of availability etc, although the resort was EMPTY and the response from The check-in staff was “we have a strict 3pm check-in policy”. We ended up Having a nice day by the pool although given what we spent on food & drinks you think common sense & courtesy (again given the occupancy) would prevail over spitefulness. So we went back to reception at 3.30pm and ended up being transferred to an alternate rotor as again our allocated one wasn’t ready. The beach itself is very littered and doesn’t m (not the Resorts’s responsibility I know) . The restaurant, pool and gym areas however well exceeded our expectations (I’m very health conscious and the gym facilities were one of the best I’ve ever seen at any hotel - So credit is due!).
