I like the ambient, although it is tugged between apartments and hotels and other buildings. It feels like being away from the city.
Birds and flying foxes all around. It is lovely to sit in front of the bungalows in the morning and enjoy a coffee.
The staff is very attentive and will try to accommodate you anyhow they can.
The German food menu was a personal highlight (coz I'm German).
... if it wasn't for the insane noise currently happening from the massive hotel construction opposite of the resort.
... and if it wasn't for the absent noise dampening by the doors and windows.
The door frames have cleaving gaps. Some of the windows, too. The doors and windows don't serve any noise reduction - be it because of the birds, loud talking neighbours and let alone the massive construction from 7.00AM till 8.00PM, Monday to Sunday (at least).
Buzzing and humming ACs and HVACs all around.
As much as I liked the ambient, I slept miserable because of all the sounds night and day. The bungalows need serious upgrading. At least the doors and windows need to be made sound-proof.
PS: There is no difference between a villa and a bungalow, except for an additional 1.5m wall at the bathroom.
