The hotel is very old. That is alright, as long as it has been renovated, which is the case for this hotel. However, something about the lighting, interior or color of the room makes it a little scary. Interior is a bit scratched up. Bathroom is very dark. Bathroom ceiling has molds on it. The bedroom is okay, but furniture is quite old and not well cared. The bed is nice but the pillow is way too high and hard. My biggest complain is that in the morning of both days (Sat and Sun) at the hotel around 8-9 am, I was woken up by the very loud and nasty sound of grinder and hammer, most likely originated on the same floor (4th floor) or right in the next room from mine. For me, this is unacceptable in the hospitality industry. They should NEVER allow construction that create noise to start before 11 AM at least on Sat and Sun. If they really need to do it, they HAVE TO inform guests before they start it especially if it's on the same floor.
